This site is a place to learn & share ideas about internet marketing. Everything from building websites to affiliate sales, social media training to business planning. I'm sure we will find plenty to talk about as we go along, but the main thing here is to try to help people make more money and the best place to do it is online!
Facebook alone has over 1.6 Billion registered users and most of these users now are using mobile devices to connect with the world whether it's on Facebook or shopping on ebay. There are extraordinary opportunities out there on the internet for all of us to make money and hundreds of different ways of doing it.
So, my name is David McCallum
and I'm not a marketing genius, I don't feel the need to proclaim that I will make you a millionaire or try to make it sound like I've "made it". I'm just a guy from Scotland who makes some money online and sees people every day struggling to make ends meet. I'd like to try to do something about that...
My goal with this site is to try and help some of those people by showing them what I know and more importantly what I am learning every day. Hopefully some of you will find this useful and end up making a little more money and begin to enjoy an easier life. I have made a million mistakes since starting building websites in 2006 which is why I'd like to show you what I have learned so you don't have to make them too. I'll let you make your own in good time!
The world is changing fast, the way we communicate is changing as is the way we do business and the jobs we take are affected and changing with it. There is no right or wrong way to make money online, but there are legal and moral ways to do it, so I hope all of you will respect this.
But the one thing I do know, is that this is the time of the internet. You are either in on it or your not and the folks who are not are falling backwards, whether they know it or not. The internet is not going away, it's only going to get bigger, better and more competitive. This all means we have to be on the ball and be flexible enough to roll with the punches and move with the times, every day!
Biography:
Since visiting San Fransisco and being introduced to the web in 2000 I have been totally in awe of the internet. I have been making websites since 2006, mainly using WordPress and I love it!
But this is like a 2nd life for me as for over 20 years I have been a Professional Golfer both playing in tournaments around the world and coaching golfers from all backgrounds and in many countries.
I have been making money on the internet in several ways:
- Online golf lessons
- Ecommerce sales
- Building websites for businesses
- Affiliate marketing
- Membership sites
- Website advertising
All of the above have required me to learn new skills, adapt to using the tools available and market my skills/ products via the latest platforms.
Nothing worth doing is easy, it required a lot of time and effort to learn these skills, but if I can manage it so can you! Hopefully my help can speed up the learning process and encourage you get things done and make some extra money.
